Enzklösterle – a hiking and biking paradise at the Northern Black Forest

The journey is the destination – no phrase expresses more precisely the fascination about hiking either by foot or by bike. There is no better place to go hiking than the Black Forest. You will find a stunning countryside with trails perfectly prepared and well signposted. Every ‚nature-lover‘ will find his way in Enzklösterle. The Tourist-Information Enzklösterle has booklets and flyers with many recommendations available.

Jockels‘ raftmen-trail

Take a look around Enzklösterle’s most stunning countryside by foot, bike or E-bike. During the 17th century timber rafting became popular and important to the people of the Enz-valley. It was the start of the settlement in the area. Numerous stories and adventures from this period were passed down to our present days.

Kaltenbronn – hiking in sensitive nature

Some very rare animal species like the capercaillie cock and the adder live around Kaltenbronn. A widespread area of the forest is a declared protected zone. One of the highlights at Kaltenbronn is the Information Centre.

Discover the forest in its original shape! Impressive trees rise up towards the sky. A black woodpecker calls from the distance. It smells of damp moss and fresh mushrooms.
